Important information
Avoid exposing products to water, oil, perfume, or cosmetics.
Keep them away from excessive heat and intense light.
Always store in a dry place.
Do not fold, roll, or crush.
How to store a hat?
Store your hat in a dry place, avoid crushing it, and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading.
What to do if your hat gets wet?
If your straw hat gets wet, gently pat it dry and leave it to air dry in a well-ventilated area. Felt hats are naturally water-resistant but not fully waterproof. They can be worn in light rain, but soaking is not recommended. If your felt hat gets wet, leave it to air dry in a ventilated space, away from heat sources.
The brim of the hat has become misshapen — what should I do?
Over time, the brim of a hat may become misshapen. A simple way to restore its original shape is by using steam. Evenly apply steam around the hat to avoid water spots. Once it feels warm but not wet, gently reshape it with your hands or flatten the brim by lightly weighting it. Leave it to dry, preferably overnight.
Care tips for straw hats
Clean gently — remove dust with a dry cloth or a soft brush. For stains, use a slightly damp cloth with a bit of mild soap.
Protect from cosmetics — avoid contact with oils, perfumes, and creams, as they may weaken the fibers.
Care tips for felt hats
To remove dust and light dirt, use a natural bristle brush — a light one for light-colored hats and a dark one for dark hats. Always brush counterclockwise to avoid damaging the fibers. For stains, gently wipe the hat with a dry sponge or a slightly damp cloth.
How to wash wool and cashmere products?
Avoid frequent washing — wool and cashmere naturally repel dirt, so regular airing is usually enough.
Wash gently — if needed, hand wash in lukewarm water using a mild wool detergent. Do not rub or wring; gently press and squeeze instead.
Can I tumble-dry wool and cashmere?
No, wool and cashmere should not be tumble-dried. Here’s a simple drying guide — press out excess water using a towel and lay flat to dry to avoid stretching and deformation. Never dry on a radiator.
What to do if your product pills?
Natural cashmere and wool may pill over time. Use a fabric shaver or a special cashmere comb to gently remove pills. Do this regularly.
To maintain the smoothness and freshness of your cashmere and wool pieces, steam them as needed. We recommend steaming after removing any pilling.
